Sermon Series: The Mission (November 20, 2008 - December 21, 2008)
This December we will celebrate the Advent Season by focusing on Missions. The Incarnation-God with us is Good News! God sent Jesus, His Son into our world on a redemptive mission. He came to seek and save the lost, proclaim the Good News, usher in the Kingdom of God, equip, train and deploy the Apostles, complete his work on Calvary’s cross, be raised to life on the 3rd day and will continue to build His Church until his triumphant return.
The focus of this series is the most mission-focused book in the Old Testament-Jonah. The themes from Jonah provide a beautiful picture of God’s redemptive mission and our call GO and carry it out. Our focus will include celebrating our partnership church-plant with Pastor Ricardo Garcia and ROCC AND our annual Christmas Star Bazaar.
